Carol Chaplin

Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority

A longtime resident of South Lake Tahoe, Carol has over 24 years of experience in the local hospitality and tourism industry. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, a cooperative organization that promotes tourism to the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. She has also served as the Director of Sales & Marketing for ARAMARK and as the General Manager for Hornblower Cruises and Events.

Carol is a 28 year South Shore resident, and in her free time enjoys running, biking, skiing and swimming. She received her B.A. in English from San Francisco State University.
